Faulty Sex Reassignment Surgery led to the Death of Kerala’s Transwoman, Exposes Loopholes
Anannyah Kumari Alex, 28-year-old trans woman from Kollam district, Kerala who was a makeup artist, stage anchor and radio jockey was found dead by suicide on 20 July 2021 in her apartment. The suicide was the result of prolonging aches in her body parts after she had gone through Sex Reassignment Surgery last year.
