The Private Member's Bill of Shashi Tharoor to amend Sec 377 and de-criminalise consensual adult sexual relations will be tabled in the Lok Sabha on Dec 18
Shashi Tharoor declared his support for Delhi Queer Pride and said he will be introducing a private member's bill in Parliament for removal of Section 377.
Speaking at Times LitFest in New Delhi, Arun Jaitley said, "Supreme Court's 2014 verdict banning gay sex is not in accordance with evolving legal jurisprudence and court needs to reconsider it."
Intolerance has always been around. Homosexuals have lived with it for a very long time. Nobody is interested in removing the real/perceived intolerance. Everybody seems to be more worried about branding!
