Pune protests against Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code in a novel way. Members of the queer community will sit in silent protest on the side walk of J.M. Road- Near Sambhaji Garden, next to Balgandharva Police Chowkey.
The event is expected to begin at 10 am and will run till 5pm. There will be no sloganeering, just silent protest. Volunteers won’t partake food and only water will be given to them.
Sambhaji Garden on JM Road near the Rani Laxmibai statue in Pune is well known. Reach there and you should spot the rainbow.
