A lesbian couple in Gujarat committed suicide by tying themselves with a dupatta and jumping into the Sabarmati river, after throwing a three-year old child of one of them in the river too, PTI reported
Police said the two were in a relationship and one of them was married and had a three year old child too. They scribbled a suicide note along the riverfront’s concrete walkway near Ellisbridge where they jumped into the water body, where they wrote that they had “distanced themselves from the world so they could unite, but the world did not let them live.”
Both of them worked at the same private company in a village in Ahmedabad district.
