Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju came out in support of LGBT rights, but was quick to say that it was his personal view.
While answering questions asked by students at the seventh edition of ‘Lead On’, a leadership summit for senior school students at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi, Rijiju said, “You know as a minister I cannot comment on the policy but on a personal note, yes why not. Everybody has the right to get equal space.”
