Have you ever said, or been told, to stop “acting like a girl”? What does the phrase “like a girl” actually imply? Somehow, the phrase has always been used in a negative way, as if there is something wrong with girls and hence it is should not be allowed. But such rigid gender conformity not only affects men, but also affects women and girls. It affects their confidence and self-esteem too.
