Equal Ground, a nonprofit organisation seeking human and political rights for the LGBTIQ community of Sri Lanka, has released a pride music video. Currently celebrating Colombo PRIDE 2015, the music video debuted to a packed audience last night at the Goethe Institute. The video is shot entirely in Colombo. The lyrics of the song is as beautiful as the video itself. In fact, with lines like “Put your hands up, we got nothing to hide… Stand up..we got nothing but PRIDE”, a catchy tune, and lyrics that actually celebrate pride, the song could well be the “pride anthem”.
