Valentine’s Day is here, and like every year, right-wing Hindu groups have pledged to disrupt celebrations on this day. But the Hindu Mahasabha has gone a step further, and said that they will marry off any couples they find in the streets holding hands, because if they are in love, they should get married. This of course has attracted a lot of criticism, and sarcasm. East India Company has released a video on how the Hindu Mahasabha helped get couples hitched. But the gay couple, despite their best efforts, weren’t married off by the Hindu Mahasabha.
