Friends of Linger, a music band which is less of a band and more of a concept that includes friends who love to sing together and enjoy music and the emotions that go with it, launched a music video dedicated to the LGBT community. The band embarked on a journey to use music as a means to send out messages of social relevance and has performed at Hard Rock Cafe in the national capital region and other venues.
Head Held High lends itself to the confusion, dilemma, pain and affirmation of a gay individual and in a sense is a story that many such individuals go through in an overtly heterosexual environment that more or less lives in denial or suppresses the existence of homosexuality.
