I wake up every morning,
And the wall around me breaks down my life into various provinces
With the ruler of each
Driving me crazy.
I step out,
And my craziness is fuelled,
By the obnoxious laughs of the demons.
‘Stereotype’ blatantly walks past me,
And ‘normativity’ drives a sword deep into my nerve.
The blood that oozes out,
Creates a mirror.
Where I meet myself.
And I realize,
The Queer meeting the Queer,
Is like a mirror meeting a mirror,
With infinity sprawling across its lawns,
And reflections defining their existence.
And I smile.
Obnoxiously,
I smile.
