Poem: Hope of Decriminalisation

section 377

Let me light a candle for the last ray of hope,
Let me tie a knot in the rainbow coloured rope,
Let me skip a beat, in the throbbing heart of mine,
Let me dream in eyes, of a VIBGYORed sunshine.

More than a struggle, it has been a war ongoing,
A struggle for acceptance, love and a little caring,
Mom said change, Dad made fun, and rest called names,
Let me see whom the apex Supreme Court blames.

If the feeling is natural, and not a disease in science
Hope the court will have a judgement in conscience
With the vibes of good and hopes of possibility
I wish my rainbows, all the best to homosexuality
