“Ek Madhav Baug”, a play about the journey of a mother as she understands what her gay son went through and accepts him for who he is, is finally coming to Delhi. The play, originally written by Chetan Datar, is enacted in the form of a monologue by actress Mona Ambegaonkar and has been performed in various cities already.
Harmless Hugs, a Delhi based support group that also organised the first LGBT flash mob in the city, has worked with The Humsafar Trust and Reliance Foundation to bring the play to Delhi. The play will be performed at SSS 1 Auditorium, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. on 30th August at 5 pm and entry is free for everyone.
