March 31st is celebrated as Transgender Day of Visibility, a day to celebrate transgender people and raise awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people. To mark the occasion, Uber India has come out with a video featuring Prem and Preetisha, a real life transgender couple who also work as delivery partners at Uber Eats in Chennai.
In the video, Preetisha narrates her struggle at finding employment, and overcoming the odds. Preetisha met Prem and soon the two got married. But finding a job was a challenge, until they enrolled with Uber Eats. The two have been working with Uber Eats for over a year now.
